EMI Gal’s up/down frequency converter modules are intended for integration into the outdoor units of wireless system vendors. Installed in harsh conditions, with non-compromising quality and zero-service requirements, current commercially available products focus on the full satisfaction of our customers. 
The newest design leapfrogs in terms of form factor (size) and cost, while enabling mass production at the highest possible quality requirements.

The frequency converter modules make extensive use of MMICs. The breakthrough approach takes advantage of the company’s innovative pick-and-place capabilities for SMT, microwave and hybrid components, and adapts them for MMICs, thereby enabling fully automatic product assembly, with no human intervention. The product’s mechanical enclosure was modified in order to support maximum production efficiency at reduced product cost.  Product size is reduced by 75%, and total human hours required for production and testing is reduced by 80%.
