Custom Subassemblies
| In addition to our standard catalog products, we offer custom modules. Our statement, “Customized Solutions, Straight Off the Shelf!” is not just a slogan - we are the experts in this area. No company has mastered this concept to the extent that we have. We have delivered reliable custom modules to hundreds of satisfied customers, on-time, on-budget, and on-spec.
Outsourcing your subassembly allows you to leverage our expertise without risk, thereby achieving significant savings in form factor (space, weight), cost and time. We can provide optimum performance tradeoffs, meeting the specified requirements, while you can concentrate on the delivery of your system as a whole.
With hundreds of modules already delivered, we surely have a subassembly that is close to what you need, which can be a great starting point.

Quality Assurance
| Quality is our prime priority. We commit to the highest, ever-improving quality possible. We believe that quality starts from the early stage of product development, and, therefore, our QA department is involved in all stages of product lifecycle, from product design specification, through product development, testing, production, product revisions and change orders.

Our QA lab is equipped with the most advanced test and measurement equipment, supporting frequencies up to 50 GHz, periodically calibrated in accordance with ISO 10012-01 and MIL-STD-45662. We use equipment for fine and gross leak tests of hermetically sealed deliveries. All units pass visual and electrical testing. We execute MIL-specified screening procedures to ensure that problems are identified and resolved. We have environmental test labs with large chambers for temperature cycling, temperature shocks and facilities for mechanical shocks, in which every product is extensively burned-in prior to shipping.
All of our defense products are tested in accordance with MIL-STD-5400, MIL-STD-16400, and MIL-STD-883. Most military screening requirements differ from customer to customer, and the EMI Group has the expertise and equipment to apply further screening procedures and environmental conditions upon special request.
Our commercial products are tested in accordance with our proprietary screening program, which is derived from MIL-STD-883. This program includes Pre-Cap visual inspection, stabilization bake, thermal shock, burn-in, seal test, final electrical test, and external visual inspection.
Our company is ISO 9001/2000-certified, which ensures on-going and ever-improving quality of our deliveries.
