| Modulators 0.5-18 GHz |
Dual channel broadband modulator. Its major function is to shift down the frequency of a broadband RF signal. The RF input signal is Single-Side-Band modulated by a local oscillator. The signal is then split into two independent amplification paths. A Built-In Test input may be injected through the input coupler. The design integrates a coupler, amplifiers, band-pass filter, SSB, high-pass filter, and a 2-way splitter, splitting the signal to 2 output amplifiers. Three separate sample modules are available, covering 0.5-2GHz, 2-6GHz, and 6-18GHz frequencies.

| Demodulators 0.5-18 GHz |
Dual channel broadband demodulator. Its major function is to mix 2 RF signals. Each channel includes an image reject mixer (IRM). A common local RF signal feeds both RF channels. The design integrates a 2-way power combiner, 2 amplifiers, 2 IRM units, and 4 outputs. Three separate sample modules are available.

| TRMs X Band |
X-band transmit and receive module, typically incorporated into a phased array antenna in radar, directional finder, EW and ELINT systems. The design integrates a phase-shifter attenuator, transmit-and-receive switch, power amplifier for the transmit side, and LNA and limiter for the receive side. The module includes user-defined control interface.

| Transceivers |
The transceiver module includes transmit and receive channels. The transmit chain accepts various IF input signals, and converts them to RF signal output. The receive channel converts RF signals back to IF frequencies. Two sample modules are provided: Wideband Receiver, and Multi Channel Transceiver

| Signal Strength detection |
The module detects and measures an RF signal at frequency range of 0.8 to 1 and 1.8 to 2 GHz (CDMA and PCS). It includes an SP4T switch at the front end. Double conversion is performed, to achieve a 15Khz signal at 6dB, followed by filtration, which provides improved image rejection and proper frequency range selection. The unit operates at two amplitude ranges: from –120 dam and 60 db above, and –20 dam and 60 db below. The frequency is selected by changing the frequency of a synthesizer. The amplitude is selected by switching a 30 dB attenuator inside a dual down-conversion unit. The resulting IF signal of about 10MHz is filtered through a crystal filter. Finally, a log IF unit provides a 60 dB dynamic range of amplitude detection.

| Matrix |
| Matrix switches: NxN ports, customized to the customer’s specification at any combination. Typically, they are used for connecting multiple RF signals to multiple RF receivers. The matrix is PIN-diode based, featuring non-blocking matrix, small form factor, fast switching, and high isolations between ports. Implemented with a complex driver that accepts TTL interface, to determine the desired switch configuration.

| RF Distribution Units |
| The distribution assembly receives HF/RF inputs from 2 monitoring antennas and amplifies the signals using high dynamic-range amplifiers that compensate for the losses in the RF chain, improves the noise figure with minimum effect on the total dynamic range, and divides the signals among 24 receivers. The design supports future expansion up to 32 or 64 receivers using parallel operation of two assemblies. The assembly includes BIT circuitry for providing end-to-end failure detection.

| RF Processing units |
| An airborne module that receives RF signals from several antennas and 2-BIT sources. The input signals are filtered, compensated with linear LNA, and then routed to a designated switch port based on a data word that is embedded in the RF signal. The unit sends reference signals for continuous self-test. The RF switch is timed, synchronized by means of an atomic clock. The module controls the power of the signals with DCAs or VVAs that are configured with pre-specified scenarios. The module implements a LAN network interface.
